Y-EDCO addresses this through learning content focused on alternatives to conventional plastics, sustainable material choices, and circular innovation.
The project materials introduce topics such as bio-based materials, waste-to-product innovation, microplastic filters, mycelium materials, algae-based plastics, and circular economy thinking. These subjects help young people move from environmental concern toward a more solution-oriented perspective.
By showing that innovation and sustainability can go together, Y-EDCO encourages learners to think critically about materials, systems, and the role of creativity in building a cleaner future.
